Dec 25th Xmas come and gone - shakey day

Hey all, Hope your xmas was good, lots to eat and drink. A big Merry Xmas to those from overseas who have yet to get to the 25th, thank you for following my blogs and putting up with some of my dribble, it makes my day knowing that you are interested in what I say xxx For me, I cancelled Xmas this year, but not in a sad way. It was good to get some things done that seem high on the important list. I am sure lots of houses had Santa come up through the manhole or through the cat door, no chimneys left.
This year I was going to be hosting Xmas for the first time for many years, but with the conditions the way they are that was out of the question. Im not bummed out about not having xmas dinner here, there was certainly no dishes or preparing to do. Lately Im more of a 'Youll always find me in the shed with my fossils' type of gal :)
Played with the fossils for a while, and listened as my neighbours on both sides had their time together, so overdue and much deserved.

This afternoon I went and assessed our work building, not something I was eager to do with the ongoing shakes, but it was for staff safety. I wont go into detail on this area.
The days been shakey, a heck of a lot, 29+, quite a few not listed online, probably due to being only small. Our house feels them all, and my kitchen window kept me onguard today. Its a big window and since the Sept 2010 quake, the window makes a hell of a sound with any aftershocks, sounds like its smashing. Its scares the crap out of me at the best of times lol.
I noticed my bedroom window sill, which was wonky, aiming more like a banana, has gone down on the right side. This is parallel to the broken foundation vents which lean on similar angles. I took pics last night of under the house, and for a split second thought I had coffin like things under there. Yeah silly me. Looks like concrete slabs lifting from the ground that go to a specific type of Pile. Think there's about three types of Piles under there, which include the older tin/metal square ones, while most are concrete. So maybe these have this type of bracing under the ground. With the ground movements, it must be exposing these as the ground sinks slightly more. I cannot quite get a good enough pic to see them properly, but there are about three in a row, all parallel to each other, and the base of these Piles are exposed.

Puss thinks shes done enough work for the day
Ewwww and my cats been keeping themselves busy, lots of birds feathers under the house. Actually when I took some pics, I got a fright as my cat popped her head out the vent. When I looked at the pics, she was in them, parked up under there. With the silt quite high in places, she looks like the 'Monster cat'...Heres some pics, sorry I still have problems with getting the pictures to site where I want them to be.......
To the right are the slabs that stop at the Piles
Silt,drunk Piles,'The vag hole',boils along back Piles
Ewww, lots of germ activity going on down there
